Text Box: SAVE A GENERATION...SPONSOR A CHILD Missionaries based in Georgia and South Carolina have been visiting Las Torres, a neighborhood in Managua, Nicaragua since 1998. They have been providing medical care, construction materials and labor to the community. During that time another ministry built a school. However, in 2007 the director of that ministry suddenly stated that the school would be closing. Through the dedication and determination of sponsors, parents, teachers and people like you a new school, The Christian Academy of Las Torres (CALT) has been opened. But to keep the dream of a better life alive, these children need your help. For just $150 a year you can make an amazing difference in a child’s life; your donation will help provide teachers, staff, tables, chairs, equipment, school supplies, books and uniforms for an entire school year.
